# PTL Vue Common

Reusable Vue 3 components built with TypeScript and PrimeVue.

## Install

```sh
npm install ptl-vue-common vue primevue primeicons
```

## Use

```ts
import { DataTable, Form, NotificationProvider, useNotifications } from 'ptl-vue-common';
import 'ptl-vue-common/styles.css';
```

## Local Package Build

```sh
npm ci
npm run lint
npm run test:run
npm run build
npm pack
```

`npm pack` creates a `.tgz` file that can be installed into another app:

```sh
npm install ./ptl-vue-common-1.0.0.tgz
```

## Publish

Make sure you are logged into npm or have `NODE_AUTH_TOKEN` set, then run:

```sh
npm version patch
npm publish
```

Use `npm version minor` for new backward-compatible features and `npm version major` for breaking changes.

## Azure DevOps Releases

The pipeline validates every push to `main` and every PR to `main`.

Publishing to npm only happens when a version tag is pushed:

```sh
npm version patch
git push
git push --tags
```

Create an Azure DevOps secret variable named `NPM_TOKEN` containing an npm automation token.
