deforest - an Amazon IP Region Parser
A Node script that filters the Amazon IP JSON feed
Installation
Dependencies
Node.js >= v6.4
Downloading files
You can download the script either via npm or git:
npm install deforest-cli
or
git clone https://github.com/chris-ryan/deforest
then make the script executable:
cd deforest
chmod +x deforest.jsUsage
Enter the command: deforest.js followed by optional arguments to filter the JSON results.
./deforest.js [filterType filterValue]
filter types:
- --region
- --service
example:
deforest.js --region ap-northeast-1 --service S3
NOTE: This script writes to process.stdout so you can pipe it into other commands.
