Lotus Organizer 6.1 - Portable.1

I am working in a computer lab, and several of our employees use Lotus. I use it on our Windows 10 computers. One of the employees has had a problem with the latest update to WIndows, leading to a half-broken computer. I installed the latest Insider update, which required a lot of work in the computer lab to get working, and then I was off to the races. The crash of the computer was not related to Lotus. It was due to an update causing a full disk error. However, the moment the disk was fixed, the only thing that crashed the computer was Lotus.

To answer my earlier question, YES, it does run on Windows 10. And not only does it run, I can use my Lotus 123 spreadsheet and at the same time work on my TurboTax 2014, which is a standalone program. I don't know how to ask the question better than I have: Is the Lotus Organizer going to stop being available?

Not yet, but you may see a version of Lotus Organizer that says that it is not going to run on Windows 10 or something like that. I believe it means that certain "parts" will not work and so you will have to pay money to get them to work. I am going to retire it. We already have an array of QB, Excel, and some stand alone applications. An extra expense like Lotus may just be way out of our budget.

In particular, I am trying to make my office work paperless. I have a desktop that does TurboTax. It has a plug in for my Lotus Organizer spreadsheet, so I can use it to file and file W-2 and 1099 forms, get my number of dependents, and enter any fudged info that I have. It has helped me to reduce my use of paper and number of trips to the store to get things like forms, and to reduce my identity theft. 84d34552a1
