thank you all for your time and energy in creating this amazing product. i for one was using a paper sheet of dimensions and angles as a design drawing, it would not do the job for me and 3design is a great solution. 3design is available for mac os x, windows xp/7, windows vista and linux (free) and support


great, i agree. 3design was the first program i learned in, and having now used it for a few years, i can definitely see why. it is super easy to learn and it is fairly intuitive when it comes to being able to change the parameters of the design quickly and easily. the only real downside to it is that if you want to use the history functionality (which is a stored in the database), you have to design, render and import the model into 3design to be able to use it. that can be a bit of a hassle, but it does have its benefits. it also makes the program very easy to move from one project to another.
