cm08 is a great game but it has a few flaws. one big issue is the new interface. it is not user friendly and takes a long time to learn. the new graphics engine is a good one and it is a big step up from cm7. however, the new interface looks just like the old one and so it is not easy to switch between the two. there are also some bugs in the game. for example, when you play with the manager you can see a blue outline around the team but the team is not completely visible. also, sometimes when you put your player out for a transfer, you can't see which club he is going to. the virtual assistants, brian marwood and alan hansen, are really good and will give you some valuable advice. they are not very useable though because you have to type in all the information about the player.

championship manager has been criticised for the fact that it has no way to save your career. the career mode doesn't allow you to save your career so that you can start all over again. there are some good features though. when you get to a certain point in your career, you can save your career and make your own rules. there are also some other great features like the tactical engine, which is really good and the player prediction engine, which is a great learning tool. there is a lot more features too that you can read about by checking out the championship manager 2008 update 12. page.
