To create a new project based on this template using create-next-app
, run the following command:
npx create-next-app -e https://github.com/nextui-org/next-app-template
Install dependencies
You can use one of them npm
, yarn
, pnpm
, bun
, Example using npm
:
npm install --workspace=jefeui
Run the development server
npm run dev --workspace=jefeui
Setup pnpm (optional)
If you are using pnpm
, you need to add the following code to your .npmrc
file:
public-hoist-pattern[]=*@nextui-org/*
After modifying the .npmrc
file, you need to run pnpm install
again to ensure that the dependencies are installed correctly.
How to test this before Deploying to the Registry
We need to use npm link
which can locally link the packages. Here are the steps to follow:
Change into this project directory and run the link
npm link
After that go to your project root (where your package.json
lives) and do a npm link <this-package-name>
npm link @skoolscout/jefeui
Here some logs I received
removed 289 packages, changed 1 package, and audited 6 packages in 3s
found 0 vulnerabilities
s Now do on your project you can import anything:
import { Button } from "@skoolscout/jefeui/components";
function YourComponent () {
return <Button>Hello World</Button>
}
Note: any changes your do ont hat project, will be reflected here as they are link
