Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @amir23/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@amir23/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

const head = require('./head'); const tail = require('./tail'); const middle = require('./middle'); const assertEqual = require('./assertEqual'); const eqArrays = require('./eqArrays'); const assertArraysEqual = require('./assertArraysEqual');

  • head(...): given an array, output first element of that array
  • tail(...): given an array, output all elements after the first
  • middle(...): given an array, output middle element(s)
  • assertEqual(...): given two primitives, cheecks if thier values match
  • eqArrays(...): iven two arrays, checks to see they match
  • assertArraysEqual(...): assertion for testing eqArrays
