Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @chenken12/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@chenken12/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

• head(...): return the first element of the array
• middle(...): return the midde element of the array
• tail(...): return everything after the first element of the array
• flatten(...): remove one lay of a nested array
• countOnly(...): count the number of similar value in an array
• letterPositions(...): input a string and return an object with the index of all char
• findKeyByValue(...): input an object and value, returns key name
• eqObjects(...): compare 2 objects if they are the same and return boolean
• eqArrays(...): compare 2 arrays if they are the same and return boolean
