Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install chitra91/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('chitra91/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

• head: returns the head of an array
• tail: returns the tail of an array
• middle: returns the middle of an array
• map: return a map of array based on the parameter function
• letterPositions: returns the positions of letter as an object
• countLetters: counting the occurance of each letter in the string and returning it as an object
• countOnly: returns the count of specified values as an object
• findKey: finds and returns the specified key of an object
• findKeyByValue: finds and returns the key of an object when value of the key is specified
• takeUntil: takes items from array until the call back function becomes truthy
• without: function to remove unwanted elements from an array
