Lotide
A mini clone of the Lodash library.
Purpose
BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.
This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.
Usage
Install it:
npm install @cvogrinetz/lotide
Require it:
const _ = require('@cvogrinetz/lotide');
Call it:
const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]
Documentation
The following functions are currently implemented:
function1(head): Returns the first index.function2(tail): Returns everything after the first indexfunction3(middle): If array is odd returns the middle most index. If even returns the 2 most middle indexesfunction4(countLetters): Returns an amount for each letter provided in the inputfunction5(countOnly: Take in a collection of items and return counts for a specific subset of those itemsfunction6(findKeyByValue): Will take in a value of an object and return the Key idfunction7(findKeys): Scan the object and return the first key for which the callback returns a truthy value.function8(letterPositions): Will return what index a specific input will befunction9(map): Return a new array based on the results of the callback functionfunction10(takeUntil): Return slice of the array with elements taken from the beginningfunction11(without): Take in an array and an item to remove array. Return a new array with only those elements from source that are not present in the itemsToRemove array.
