@datagica/orientdb-server

Purpose

This package provides an embedded OrientDB server as a NPM dependency, together with a simple asynchronous api to start and stop the instance.

Version of OrientDB used: OrientDB Server v3.0.0m2 (community edition with support for TinkerPop 3)

Important

The startup scripts have been modified to remove the -server flag and finally allow OrientDB to run on a standard JVM (JRE only) and not the server-mode JRE which requires the full JDK.

Usage

Installation

$ npm i --save git+ssh://git@github.com/datagica/orientdb-server.git

Quickstart

var orientdb = new OrientDB({
  pipe: true, // if true it pipes stderr and stdout, if false it will be silent

Later, you can stop the server as well:
