inspector-elasticsearch

Typescript Metrics Reporter for elasticsearch.

This library is made for inspector-metrics node module and is meant to be used with typescript / nodejs.
It uses elasticsearch-js as elasticsearch client.

install

npm install --save inspector-elasticsearch

basic usage

using the playground

To use the playground you need to have docker and docker-compose installed.

npm run compile

view data in grafana

1. Navigate to http://localhost:3000
2. Add a new Data Source (type: elasticsearch, host / url: http://elasticsearch:9200)
3. Create a new graph

view data in kibana

1. Navigate to http://localhost:5601
2. Add a new index pattern like metric-*
3. Discover data
