Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @fabagan/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@fabagan/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

• function1(...): description
• assertArraysEqual: compares 2 arrays and returns if they are the same
• assertEqual(array): compares 2 values and returns if they are the same
• countLetters(array): returns the number of letters in a string
• countOnly(array): counts number of specific letters defined by user in a string
• eqArrays(array): uesed by assertArraysEqual
• head(array): returns first value in an array
• middle(array): returns middle value of an array, if even numbered array returns 2 values
• tail(array): returns array without index0
• without(array): removes values from array
