random-material-color

About this fork

This version returns color class instead of HEX color code. I am usnig this in my Vuetifyjs projects. for example, instead of #FF8A80 it will return red accent-1

About

This is an easy to use random color generator which uses the Google Material UI color palette. It also uses murmurhash to generate colors for specific strings.

Usage

Install

$ npm install random-material-color --save

Example

var randomMC = require('random-material-color');

var color = randomMC.getColor();
var colorForText = randomMC.getColor({ text: 'Some Random Text' });
var colorUsingShade = randomMC.getColor({ shades: ['200', '300'], text:'Some Random Text' });
