First American Web Core

Firstam.com's web framework. Created for the development of FA's corporate sites to maintain a standard look and feel while also providing a styled code base reusable by any dev team and complying to First American's brand guidelines.

Usage

This package exposes the framework via 2 files: core.scss and core.js. To use the framework on your site, import the SASS file in your site's SASS so it is compiled along your styles and have its functions and mixins available.

First install the package to your node project:

npm install @firstam_enterprise_web/fawc

Then import core.scss in your main SASS file or the files where you need the mixins and functions:

@use '@firstam_enterprise_web/fawc/src/stylesheets/core' as *;

In the same way import core.js into your main JavaScript file:

// Import everything and have the exported functions available on an object
import * as fawc from '@firstam_enterprise_web/fawc';

// Or import just the needed functions which will still run the necessary JS for the framework to work

import { sitemapHandler, breadcrumbHandler } from '@firstam_enterprise_web/fawc';
