A helper for keeping track of a forms model state changes.

An experiment originally designed for use with choo.

Basics

Validation

The bind helpers take an optional array of 'validators'.

function myValidator(value, fieldName, form) {
  if (!value) {
    // there's no requirement in how these work
    // track errors and form info anyway you need to
    form.context.errors.push('Name is required!');

    // by default, the model value will be changed
    // after all validators are ran.
    // throw an error if that's undesired.
  }

Converters

Similar to validators, you can create a custom input converter. (By default it makes a best 'guest' based on the input field type)
