Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @kadekobussen/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@kadekobussen/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • head(array): takes in an array and returns the first value.
  • tail(array): takes in an array and returns all values except for the first value.
  • middle(array): takes in an array and returns the middle value. If the array is even it returns the two middle most values.
  • eqArrays(array1, array2,): takes in two arrays and returns true if they have the same length and values in the same order and false otherwise.
  • assertEqual: checks if two values are strictly equal.
  • assertArraysEqual: takes in two arrays and determines if the aararys are equal and returns assertion statements;
