Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @kalvinl7/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@kalvinl7/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • tail(...): returns an array, with the first element removed
  • head(...): returns an array, with the last element removed
  • middle(...): returns an array, with the middle element if the length is odd or the middle two elements if the element is even
  • eqArrays(...): checks if two arrays are equal and returns true or false
  • assertEqual(...): checks if two primitive data values are equal
  • assertArraysEqual(...): test to check if two arrays are equal
