Lotide
A mini clone of the Lodash library.
Purpose
BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.
This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.
Usage
Install it:
npm install @kellyatmore/lotide
Require it:
const _ = require('@kellyatmore/lotide');
Call it:
const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]
Documentation
The following functions are currently implemented:
without(...): Return a new array with only those elements from source that are not present in the itemsToRemove arraytakeUntil(...): Returns a "slice of the array with elements taken from the beginning." It should keep going until the callback/predicate returns a truthy value.tail(...): Returns every element except for the first, of an arraymiddle(...): Returns the middle-most element(s) of the given arraymap(...): Returns a new array based on the results of the callback functionletterPositions(...): Returns all the indices (zero-based positions) in the string where each character is foundhead(...): Retrieves the first element from the arrayfindKeyByValue(...): Takes in an object and a value.
