Lotide
A mini clone of the Lodash library.
Purpose
BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.
This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.
Usage
Install it:
npm install @kennymkc/lotide
Require it:
const _ = require('@kennymkc/lotide');
Call it:
const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]
Documentation
The following functions are currently implemented:
head(firstItem): grabs the first index in array.tail(notFirst): grabs everything other than first index in array.middle(array): grabs the middle values in an array.countLetters(str): counts number of letters in a string.countOnly(allItems, itemsToCount): counts itemsToCount in allItems.findKey(object, callback): finds key within object.findKeyByValue(object, value): finds key by value.letterPositions(sentence): shows indices of all letters within a string.map(array, callback): similar to .map makes a new array using a function to transform each element.takeUntil(array, callback): takes an array until function given as limit.without(source, itemsToRemove): removes itemsToRemove from array given (source).
