Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my studies at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @kgrayallday/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@kgrayallday/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • head(...): returns the head of an array
  • tail(...): returns the tail of an array
  • middle(...): returns the middle element(s) of an array
  • without(...): removes items from an array
  • takeUntil(...): take until a given element - return array
  • map(...): remaps an array
  • letterPositions(...): letter positions
  • findKeyByValue(...): finds a value
  • findKey(...): finds a key
  • eqObjects(...): checks if objects are equal
  • eqArrays(...): checks if arrays are equal
  • countOnly(...): count only certain characters
  • countLetters(...): counts letters
