Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by kzcheng as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @kzcheng/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@kzcheng/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • function1(...): description
  • head(): returns the first element of an array.
  • tail(): returns all but the first element of an array.
  • middle(): returns the middle of the array.
  • assertArraysEqual(): asserts if arrays are equal.
  • assertObjectsEqual(): asserts if objects are equal.
  • countOnly(): count amount of item indicated.
  • eqObjects(): check if objects are equal.
  • findKey(): find key.
  • letterPositions(): return position of letters.
  • map(): same as map().
  • assertEqual(): asserts if two things are equal.
  • countLetters(): count letters.
  • eqArrays(): check if arrays are equal.
  • findKeyByValue(): find a key by value.
  • flatten(): flatten an array.
  • takeUntil(): return subarray until entry.
  • without(): remove an item from array.
