Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @ulbtannahilllotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@lbtannahill/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • countLetters(...): counts the number of letters in a sentence
  • countOnly(...): counts strings given within another array
  • eqArrays(...): asserts if arrays are equal
  • eqObjects(...): asserts if objects are equal
  • findKey(...): shows key in object
  • findKeyByValue(...): uses value to display an object key
  • head(...): returns given value in array
  • letterPositions(...): returns index of letters
  • map(...): shows an item
  • middle(...): gives the middle value of an array
  • tail(...): returns number of words
  • takeUntil(...): stops at a certain point
  • without(...): removes words from an array
