Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @mfayyaz16/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@username/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • function1(...): Gets the first element of array.
  • function2(...): Gets all but the first element of array.
  • function3(...): Gets the middle-most element(s) of array.
  • function4(...): Takes in two arrays and prints a console.log message to the console asserting if two arrays are equal.
  • function5(...): Prints out a colourful and easy to read message in both success and failure scenarios.
  • function6(...): Takes in two arrays and returns true or false, based on a perfect match.

module.exports = { head, tail, middle, assertArraysEqual, assertEqual, eqArrays, };
