wrap-text

Wraps text to a given width

npm install @mojule/wrap-text

usage

Require:

const { wrap } = require( '@mojule/wrap-text' )

Defaults to 80 column monospace:

// wrap monospaced text to 80 columns
const wrapped = wrap( text )

You can specify the width:

// wrap monospaced text to 40 columns
const wrapped = wrap( text, 40 )

You can use a custom measure function:

const canvas = document.getElementById( 'canvas' )
const ctx = canvas.getContext( '2d' )
const measureWidth = text => context.measureText( text ).width

// wrap text using a custom measure function
const wrapped = wrap( text, 320, measureWidth )
