The original package is fantastic and Bright people did a great job !
Unfortunately, the original package doesn't use the last version of Cloudformation schemas and the package looks not maintained anymore (last commit 9 months ago, PRs are not merged).
It's 100% OK, it's opensource ! I tried to fork, upgrade the typing with last schema versions. But it generated typescript errors due to the new cloudformation resources. As I was not sure that my work would be merged, and I have time to spend for this package, I preferred to rewrite my own package and try to keep consistent with the old API.

Test retro-compatibility with the origin package
Write unit tests to avoid regression after the next types update
Rewrite generate/generate.ts it works, but actually it is a mess :(
