Sparky

Sparky is a repository of presentational components used to build React-based web products for PetSmart. It includes built-in typography, color palettes, iconography, layout, and user interface components that can be reused and adapted to create new designs quickly and efficiently.

The primary purpose of a design system is to ensure that products and services have a consistent look and feel, which in turn helps to establish a strong brand identity. There are many pieces to this system, but most notable are the UI Kit, and the component library in this code repository.

UI Kit vs. Component Library
