Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Install it:

npm install @remained3/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@remained3/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

The following functions are currently implemented:

assertArraysEqual: checks to see if 2 arrays have identical information and outputs a confirmation
head: returns the first value of an array or string
tail: returns an array or string excluding the first value
middle: finds and returns the middle values of an array or string
assertEqual: checks if two values are identical
assertObjectsEqual: checks to see if objects contain the same keys and values and outputs a confirmation
countLetters: counts the number of letters in a string
countOnly: counts a requested value
eqArrays: checks to see if arrays are equal
eqObjects: checks to see if objects contain the same keys and values
findKey: find the key of an object
findKeyByValue: ind the key of an object by getting the keys value
letterPositions: outputs the locations of each letter in a string
map: map an array as requested
takeUntil: return an array or string with values before the stated value
without: return an array or string with a requested value removed
