Overview

The Ancestor is the keeper of all our data models and types.

Technologies Used

• Typescript - TypeScript extends JavaScript by adding types to the language
• PostgreSQL - The World's Most Advanced Open Source Relational Database
• knexjs - A "batteries included" SQL query builder for Postgres

Setup

• Create a .env file on the root of the project based on .env.example
• Fill the .env file with your desired configuration
• Run yarn migrate to create the database structure
• Run yarn seed to populate the database with dummy content (required for tests)
