Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @sharonshlee/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@sharonshlee/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

  • head(array)): Take in an array and return the first element of the given array.
  • tail(array): Take in an array and return the rest of the given array except the first element.
  • middle(array): Take in an array and return the middle-most element(s) of the given array.
  • assertEqual(actualVal, expectedVal): Take in two values, actual and expected, and return the true or false, based on a perfect match.
  • assertArraysEqual(actualArr, expectedArr): Take in two arrays, actual and expected, and return the true or false, based on a perfect match.
  • eqArrays(array1, array2): Takes in two arrays and returns true or false, based on a perfect match.
