The watchdog is active as soon as the first message is sent to the input of the node. The watchdog timer is reset every time when a message is sent to the input of the node. If there are no messages at the input of the node, the hardware watchdog is triggered and the entire device is restarted.

ATTENTION: Once the watchdog is activated, it cannot be deactivated until the device has been rebooted . Therefore, when starting the Node, we recommend delaying the first message by 60 seconds to allow enough time to suppress the first message if needed to prevent the hardware watchdog from activating.
