Rename a file.
Installation
To use as a general utility, install the CLI package globally
npm install -g @stdlib/fs-rename-cli
Usage
Usage: rename [options] <old_path> <new_path>
Options:
-h, --help Print this message.
-V, --version Print the package version.
Notes
- Relative paths are resolved relative to the current working directory.
- Errors are written to
stderr
.
Examples
$ rename ./examples/fixtures/file.txt ./examples/fixtures/tmp.txt
