Degenerate

NPM version Build Status Coverage Status

Degenerate distribution.

Installation

npm install @stdlib/stats-base-dists-degenerate

Usage

var degenerate = require( '@stdlib/stats-base-dists-degenerate' );

degenerate

Degenerate distribution.

var dist = degenerate;
// returns {...}

The namespace contains the following distribution functions:

  • cdf( x, mu ): degenerate distribution cumulative distribution function.
  • logcdf( x, mu ): degenerate distribution logarithm of cumulative distribution function.
  • logpdf( x, mu ): degenerate distribution logarithm of probability density function (logPDF).
  • logpmf( x, mu ): evaluate the natural logarithm of the probability mass function (PMF) for a degenerate distribution.
  • mgf( t, mu ): degenerate distribution moment-generating function (MGF).
  • pdf( x, mu ): degenerate distribution probability density function (PDF).
  • pmf( x, mu ): degenerate distribution probability mass function (PMF).
  • quantile( p, mu ): degenerate distribution quantile function.

The namespace contains the following functions for calculating distribution properties:

The namespace contains a constructor function for creating a degenerate distribution object.

Examples

var objectKeys = require( '@stdlib/utils-keys' );
var degenerate = require( '@stdlib/stats-base-dists-degenerate' );

console.log( objectKeys( degenerate ) );

Notice

This package is part of stdlib, a standard library for JavaScript and Node.js, with an emphasis on numerical and scientific computing. The library provides a collection of robust, high performance libraries for mathematics, statistics, streams, utilities, and more.
