Lotide
A mini clone of the Lodash library.
Purpose
BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.
This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.
Usage
Install it:
npm install @tmeyer01/lotide
Require it:
const _ = require('@tmeyer01/lotide');
Call it:
const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]
Documentation
The following functions are currently implemented:
head(...)
: Take array as parameter. Returns first element in array if the array is length is great then one. Else it returns empty arraymiddle(...)
: Take array as parameter.Return empty array for arrays that are entered if they have one or two elements. Will returns middle element of arrays entered that have odd amount of elements. Will return two middle elements of the array entered if it has even amount of elements.tail(...)
: Take array as parameter. Returns array without first item in the array index. Return empty array if array entered only had one itemeqArrays(...)
: Checks to see if two arrays are identical, returns a true or false valueassertArraysEqual(...)
: Console.log's ✅✅✅ Assertion Passed if two arrays are the same, else console.logs 🛑🛑🛑 Assertion Failed
