Updating the SDK

Generating TypeScript from Proto Files

Use version 12.0.0 of MSCLI. Follow the instructions here to generate files from proto. It will write to the sdks/typescript/src/email_sdk directory.

Testing

Once your branch has successfully built, a buildagent-va bot will comment on your PR and give you an npm command
Run that command in a project that consumes this SDK and can be used for testing (for example the Vendasta Center Client). This installs the updated @vendata/email SDK and lets you test it prior to merging.

Deploy the Package

Once you've gotten approvals and tested it, merge your PR to master
The Cloud Build process will publish the latest @vendata/email for all consumers.
