Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @yq4103/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@yq4103/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

Documentation

The following functions are currently implemented:

• function1(head): retrieve the first element from the array, the array is not changed
• function2(tail): returns everything except for the first item of the array
• function3(middle): returns the middle items of an array
• function4(assertEqual): check to see if actual output equals expected
• function5(eqArrays): check if two arrays are the same
• function6(assertArraysEqual): check to see if the eqArray is working properly
