Lotide

A mini clone of the Lodash library.

Purpose

BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.

This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.

Usage

Install it:

npm install @zongxili/lotide

Require it:

const _ = require('@zongxili/lotide');

Call it:

const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

The following functions are currently implemented:

• assertArraysEqual: Check if 2 input array have the same contents, then print the statements with emojis.
• assertEqual: Check if 2 input element have the same type and variables.
• assertObjectsEqual: Check if 2 input Objects have the same contents.
• countLetters: Takes a string as input and output an object with all characters counted
• countOnly: Takes an array of strings and a object, then output an objects counts the occurrence of keys in the array
• eqArrays: Check if 2 input array have the same contents.
• eqObjects: Takes 2 objects as input and return if they are totally equal
