Speedco Mobile App

Speedco hybrid mobile/web app.

Setup

1. In Terminal, install Node Version Manager globally.

   curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/creationix/nvm/v0.31.0/install.sh | bash

2. In Terminal, install Cordova CLI(Cordova CLI) globally.

   npm install -g cordova

3. In Terminal, ensure the project's intended version of Node is active (obeys the local .nvmrc file).

   nvm use

4. In Terminal, install local Node dependencies.

   npm install

   Note: When having trouble building, sometimes it helps to delete the contents of the node_modules folder and then run npm install again.

Building App

1. In Terminal run nvm use (only necessary once per terminal session)
2. In Terminal run npm run build-ios or npm run build-android

Preview in Browser

For previewing in browser with live reloading.

1. In Terminal run npm run develop or npm run develop-mock to use mock services
2. In another Terminal tab (don't close the other tab) run npm run server-local

Preview in Emulator

1. In Terminal (after building with npm run build-ios or npm run build-android) run npm run emulate-ios or npm run emulate-android

Preview in Device

1. In Terminal (after building with npm run build-ios or npm run build-android) run npm run xcode
2. In Xcode
3. Select project in navigation pane.
4. Search for the term bitcode.
5. Change value to No.
6. Select hardware device in drop-down at top of window.
7. Press play button to build and run.
