alright, here we go! you've learned how to start a new server, and you're in the right folder, so you just have to start the server! darn good stuff! (note: in 7.7, you're supposed to use /server command.)


just for amusement, i'll show you a few things i have done with the program. first, you can have this thing automatically keep your server running 24/7 if youre too busy to wake up. of course, that wouldnt be good if it crashed..


i'm here to "tell you about some of the stuff we've worked on." this is going to be a major focus from now on- we wont be announcing stuff on a daily basis, but are going to be more focused and centralized- which is a good thing. -, and we're hoping to share in the future.


one of the things im going to discuss is the way to go, or how to fix up, everything in a mod, in order to have it work with the most recent version of your game. we're going to start talking about this every month or two- hopefully closer to the top of the development cycle when we release new builds for our live, so you can just grab the latest version, and update the mod to reflect the new stuff. 


with the release of wow 1.2.5, we're also going to be releasing a set of very simple and basic tools that will let you pull your mods up-to-date so that they work in current wow versions (both the desktop version and the ptr version). - and the fact that we have access to a more or less stable ptr build should also mean that the more frequent updates we can make to the alpha build, the more frequently they should be made available.  http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow1.3.0/ 84d34552a1
