Prerequisites

Node version >= 20

Setup

1. Make sure the global yarn version is correct.

   yarn set version stable

2. Initalize a project with yarn.

   mkdir sdk
   cd sdk
   yarn init -y

3. Add a yarnrc.yml with following content.

   nodeLinker: node-modules

4. Add an empty yarn.lock file.

   touch yarn.lock

5. Add a .gitignore file with following content.

   node_modules/
   .yarn/
   .yarn/*
   !.yarn/releases
   !.yarn/plugins
   !.yarn/sdks
   !.yarn/versions
   .yarn/cache/

6. Install dependencies for sdk.

   yarn add typescript @rollup/plugin-typescript @rollup/plugin-terser tslib rollup @rollup/plugin-babel @babel/core @babel/preset-env -D
   yarn add axios

7. Add TON related dependencies (Optional)

   yarn add @ton/ton @ton/crypto @ton/core buffer

8. Create a rollup.config.js file with following content.

9. Add following scripts to package.json, assume the project is named v1-sdk.

10. Add a tsconfig.json file with following content.

13. Install semantic-release for automatic versioning.

14. Add a .releaserc.json file with following content. reference

15. Initialize a git repository and publish to github.

    git init

    publish to github

16. Get NPM token and add it to github release environment's secret. (you need to create a new environment)

17. Setup cli for semantic-release.

    npx semantic-release-cli setup

18. Add a github workflow file .github/workflows/release.yml with following content.

Usage

1. Create a src/index.ts file with your logic.

2. Run yarn dev to start development.

3. Run yarn build to build the project.

Local Development

1. Build the project.

   yarn build

2. Link this project in other repo.

   In other repo, run following command.

   YARN_IGNORE_PATH=1 yarn link <the relative path of this project>
