Atlantida - HTTP(S) Flooder
Atlantida is a powerful tool designed to simulate HTTP(S) floods in order to test the resilience and security of your server. It allows you to simulate high loads on a server and analyze how it handles massive amounts of requests. The tool can be customized with various parameters such as the number of threads, requests per second (RPS), and request limits.
Note: Use this tool responsibly and only on servers you own or have explicit permission to test. Unauthorized use may be illegal.
Features
- Supports both HTTP and HTTPS protocols.
- Configure requests per second (RPS) and number of concurrent threads.
- Set a limit on the number of requests (0 for unlimited).
- Display detailed statistics including success rate, failure rate, and requests per second.
- Optionally, choose the HTTP method for each request (GET, POST, etc.).
Installation
To install Atlantida, clone this repository and install the dependencies using npm
.
Automatic:
- Install Atlantida:
npm i -g atlantida
Manual:
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/douxxu/atlantida
Navigate to the project directory:
cd atlantida
Install the dependencies:
npm install
Usage
Once installed, you can run the tool from the command line with various options:
Command Line Options:
-u, --url <url>
: Target URL for HTTP flood (e.g.,http://example.com
).-r, --rps <rps>
: Requests per second (default is1000
).-t, --threads <threads>
: Number of concurrent threads (default is1
).-l, --limit <limit>
: Limit the total number of requests (0 for unlimited).--https
: Enable HTTPS support (if the URL is using HTTPS).--method <method>
: HTTP method to use for requests (e.g., GET, POST, etc.).
Example Command:
atlantida -u http://example.com -r 500 -t 10 --method GET
Displaying Stats:
While the tool is running, it will continuously display statistics such as:
- Thread stats (requests, successes, failures, success/failure rates).
- Global stats (total requests sent, global success/failure rates, total RPS).
Stop the attack:
You can gracefully stop the attack by pressing Ctrl+C
.
