Bluex Core Theme

This theme is use as base for Randstad bluex project.

Getting started

In this folder run

npm install

Then clone this repo in src/assets. This will setup Local Orbit.

git clone git@gitlab.workingpropeople.com:randstad-bluex/orbit.git

Then run

npm run build

Local orbit

This is the place where all Orbit script and style is handled. It serves as the meddleman between Orbit and Bluex. All overrides are done here. Always make sure that you have the latest changes.

Local Orbit javascript override

Javascript should be overrided by extendting existing class. 1. Create new file in overrides. 2. Extend class. 3. Replace path in components.

For example create in overrides/auto-suggest.js and export it.

export class OverrideAutoSuggest extends AutoSuggest

Override the component path in components like this

import { OverrideAutoSuggest } from "../overrides/auto-suggest";

export default OverrideAutoSuggest;

Gulp

This theme is usinh gulp for building assets.

Build icons

gulp build:icons

Build fonts

gulp build:font

Build sass located in src/assets/scss

gulp build:theme:css

Build sass located in src/assets/components

gulp build:components:css

Combine build:theme:css and build:components:css

gulp build:css

Watch scss

gulp watch:css

Build js located in src/assets/js

gulp build:theme:js

Build js located in src/assets/components

gulp build:components:js

Combine build:theme:js and build:components:js

gulp build:js

Watch js

gulp watch:js

Clean dist folder

gulp clean

Combine build:js, build:css, build:icons and build:font

gulp build

Update the theme.

1. Update @randstad-design/orbit package.
2. Run gulp build
