Company Of Heroes 2 Crack Skirmish 18

much of this is likely down to the approach relic has taken this time around. the studio has some cracking history with rts games - alongside the lastingly popular company of heroes ones, the first two warhammer 40,000: dawn of war games and their expansions are glorious, bigger-than-cult hits - but dawn of war 3's reception in 2017 was mixed. it crossed the traditional rts fare with a very light sprinkling of moba elements, like more impactful character abilities and more defined lanes to the maps, and, for better or worse, it wasn't really what fans were after.

one of the main assets company of heroes has going for it is its unique ability to present you with two armies, each made up of a set of warring factions, and each with their own strengths and weaknesses. however, you'll want to do more than just balance each faction to an ideal state; you'll want to take into account the special abilities of each unit type, and the fact that some factions are better suited to some types of combat than others. naturally, there are also many commonalities between the two factions, such as the fact that both will need to capture the enemy's base to win the battle. you may need to choose whether to deal with a tank-heavy enemy with heavy infantry or fast infantry with heavy armor, for example. it'll take some trial and error to get a good feel for how to balance your forces in a given situation, but once you do, the gameplay becomes immensely rewarding.

company of heroes also features a fantastic new mechanic called "operation points," which allows you to alter the outcome of a battle by strategically placing your units and then ordering them to perform a given action. these actions are intended to alter the course of a battle by destroying tanks or vehicles, escorting allied units, neutralizing enemy forces, or some other such thing, and they can be scripted as you see fit, though it takes a little practice to get a feel for what works best in a given situation. the interesting thing about operation points is that you can get them from any unit, and the game itself will highlight these points in a yellow circle, the same way it highlights captured victory points. this encourages you to always remember what is going on around you in the battlefield, which is a big plus for the game. 84d34552a1
