this evening, i downloaded the update and was able to install to my new windows 10 home pc. i have installed the firmware and everything else. my issue is that when i click on the installer ( even though there are about 5 updates available) i get the "this patch failed" error. i have tried all 5 updates and each has given the same result. "this patch failed."

i have also tried to manually install the update, by downloading the patch and the associated files and manually unzipping them to the "program files" folder. once again, the update succeeded, but i still get the "this patch failed" error.

my friend has a different controller ( a c4h200 w4) and he can manually install the patch, but i would like to see what i am doing wrong. i have even tried the patch on the controller i installed today and i get the same error. do i need to do this manually on each of the three computers i have?

i dont have any working control4 modules or devices in control4 pro composer. i have a working control4 setup in control4 pro 5 and 6 and work fine. when i try to add the home automation set i get the error "there is not any home automation set with name "" in the set". when i go to the control4 systems web site there is no home automation set for me to create a new one. what can i do to get the composers pro to work with control4 pro?

ok once you are connected to the network (using a secure connection) navigate to any of the following: setup > devices > control4 and hit the refresh button on the screen that appears. if you get the "no sets available" message, you need to configure the home assistant to talk to the control4. this is done under the setup > settings > control4 under the setup menu. if you are connecting through wifi or ethernet, make sure that you have the control4 configuration utility installed and that you are running the updated version. if that doesn't work, start the control4 configuration utility and click the "set up control4 network settings" button. once that is done, try the refresh and see if you are able to add a home automation set. if you are still having a problem, post back and we can help you. 84d34552a1
