cordova-plugin-base64binary

This plugin decodes base64binary data via native Objective-C code and allows you to open the newly decoded file via third party iOS application.

Some experimental features:

  • Send your image via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Gmail.
  • Send your Document file via Gmail.
  • Open documents via Microsoft or a PDF, word processing application.
  • More to come or yet to be discovered. Stay tuned.

Compatible files when decoding: PNG, JPG, MP3, PDF, MS WORD, TXT, HTML.

The list will grow over time. Thank you for patience.

Usage:

function startDecoding(a,b,c){

    // Use small files in kb to test the base64binary string.
    a = base64binary;

    // full name of the file with extension. (e.g something.ext )
    b = filenameString;

    // a file type extension goes here. (e.g "pdf" without the period )
    c = uti;

    startUtility(a, b, c);
}

// Thats it!
