create-json-server

A simple wrapper of json-server.

This tool is based on Create a Fake REST API with JSON-Server

Setting Up

Type the following in Terminal:

npm install

This will install all necessities of this project.

Run the App

To run json-server, type:

npm run json:server

This will run json-server on port 8090. You can simply change the default to whatever you want by editing line 7 in package.json.

You will now see json-server running on port 8090. Open your browser and type http://127.0.0.1:8090.

API Requests

You can now send AJAX requests to the fake server. It should respond properly.

Or you could test it via Postman.
