How to work in react-components-library
Step by step
- Create a branch from develop focused on a batch related task or components inside said batch.
- In this step you are required to create both the component in its folder.
- Create the index.ts for the exports
Create the “component”.stories.tsx inside the stories folder
After creating every file, test it by locally building for both the storybook and the rollup, if the build script, doesn’t give any error, you are good to go. And check your components via making examples for storybook.
- Now you can merge to develop.
- In order to merge to main, you are REQUIRED to increase one number version inside the package.json file, nom publish script won’t automatically add up versions, so we need to manually increase it based on whatever we had before
