a team member would have been unavailable throughout the whole project. bringing a team up from scratch to work on a complex project in a certain timeframe is not feasible. this project also took a longer time to execute than most bim projects. in order to meet the tight timelines, a combination of both services and traditional r&d was used to develop the tools, building flows, and design intent.


being able to build the entire system from integration, design, construction, and operations has been key to project flowsm. all projects produce reports and workflows, and we needed an end-to-end solution for all of those. building the solution and its reporting and workflows, being able to integrate with all partners, and building the end-to-end solution was a challenge. we were able to build this solution into a more efficient way to understand the entire process. we needed to do this to stay on the leading edge of bim, and become more powerful and capable than our competitors.


our team has done well and we have had a great launch to the business. with such a fast ramp up, we needed to rapidly adapt to the evolving bim space. in order to stay ahead, we had to get a real-time view of how we and our competitors were performing in these markets. initially, we focused on adding partner and customer integrations to deliver real-time analytics and alerts. as we grew the business, we decided that it was time to adopt the cloud as the basis for the services model. the data is already there, we could just consume it more efficiently. and from an operations point of view, it is much more efficient to operate from the cloud. 84d34552a1
