update 4.03.2011 - the play store version is out for android! this morning i submitted some stats to chartbeat, which are a good way to get a feel for your app on tablets and larger phone screens. i'll update this post with the most interesting data later today. i've also updated the site logo, so the design should be a bit more consistent. (if you see any glitches or something that should be fixed, let me know.) in the mean time, please spread the word to your android friends about doughlingsarcade. if there are any comments that you find helpful or would like to add, i'll put up a comment section here in the near future. this is pretty much all i have right now, so i'll post again later with more info.

the site will be under construction for the next few days, but i've gotten to the point where i'm about to launch the android version, and since my work with this pc version will take some time, i wanted to make sure i was ready to go. (and with the pc version, i'd have to give away all my android sdks to every tester to make sure it all worked.) as a result, i'll be down for a bit longer than i normally would, as i'll need to clean out stuff from the site so my work on the pc version is all set up, and then during that time i'll be updating the android version with what i've done on the pc version. the android version will be the first to release, and i'll do the usual site launch before taking it on. i'm trying to design the site in such a way that i can just keep updating the android version as i want to, without having to go through the whole site launch process every time. 84d34552a1
