Introduction

A pure function to recursively duplicate a directory and its contents written in Javascript.

This package was developed using Yarn, an alternative to npm. The following are necessary to run the test suite.

Installation

yarn add duplicate-directory

or

npm install --save duplicate-directory

Usage

Supply two string parameters. First string should be the original directory to duplicate. Second string should be destination directory name. Destination directory will not be overwritten if it already exists.

const duplicateDirectory = require("duplicate-directory");

duplicateDirectory(pathToOriginal, pathToDestination);

Maintainers

Solely maintained by Esteban Hernández. Open to contributions. Use freely at your own risk.

Development

After checking out the repo, run yarn install to install dependencies. Then, run yarn test to run the tests.
